Coconut Almond Protein Bars

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1 cup light coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened sunflower butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup shaved coconut 
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup 
  • 6 scoops of CorePerform Rice Crispy Protein Powder 
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate 

DIRECTIONS: 

  1. Heat coconut oil, coconut milk, sunflower butter, vanilla extract, and honey in a saucepan on low heat until melted 
  2. Add in CorePerform Protein Powder and stir until combined 
  3. Add in shaved coconut and slivered almonds 
  4. Push into a parchment lined rectangular dish 
  5. Chill in fridge for 30 minutes 
  6. Add melted chocolate and sea salt to tops
