Oatmeal has no doubt been trending as one of the most versatile (and healthy!) breakfast foods with its wide variety of toppings and flavors. Kathleen's recipe, however, ups the game with its creaminess and simplicity (check out her Instagram). This egg white protein oatmeal will for sure hit the spot (and your macros)!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 banana mashed
- 1 scoop CorePerform Protein Powder
- 1 egg white
Suggested Toppings
- Berries
- Bananas
- Nuts
- Granola
- Nut butters
Instructions
- Heat and mix oats, chia seeds, and water in a pot over high heat until thick.
- Turn heat on medium-low and add in banana and protein powder. Mix until thick.
- Turn heat on low, add in egg white. Whisk until fluffy.
- Add any toppings.
