INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/3 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup agave syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 scoop CorePerform Protein Powder
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and protein powder in a medium mixing bowl
- In a separate large mixing bowl whisk together egg, coconut oil, applesauce, agave syrup, and vanilla extract
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined
- Cover dough with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour in the fridge
- Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat
- Add powdered sugar to a shallow bowl and roll dough into a ball. Then roll ball in powdered sugar
- Place dough balls onto baking sheet
- Bake for 12-13 minutes
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly on cookie sheet then move to a cooling rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
